Hudson Valley Street Gang Member Sentenced For 2016 Murder, Racketeering
The last of three gang members charged in the death of a Hudson Valley teen has been sentenced to prison. Dutchess County resident Dimetri Moseley, age 28, of Poughkeepsie, a member of the "Uptown" gang, was sentenced on Wednesday, Dec. 14, said Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Moseley was sentenced to 25 years in prison for racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute heroin in connection with the 2016 murder of Caval Haylett and the distribution of heroin, said the US. Fugitive MS-13 Member Extradited From El Salvador To Face Murder, Other Charges In NY
An MS-13 gang member accused of taking part in the brutal killing of a 20-year-old man on Long Island has been extradited to the United States. Jose Jonathan Guevara-Castro was extradited from El Salvador on Tuesday, Aug. 9, nearly a month after the country’s top court gave the green light, the US Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District announced. Trio Charged In Killing Of 16-Year-Old In Capital District
Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a teen boy from the Capital District. Anthony Christopher Jr., age 16, of Troy, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at a home near River Street and Glen Avenue on Jan. 5, according to Troy Police.
