A Hudson Valley man was sentenced to 19 years in prison for his role in multiple violent gang-related incidents in 2023, including a stabbing, shooting, and assault. The gunman in a broad daylight shooting that injured two teenagers outside the New York home of former Rep. Lee Zeldin will spend more than a decade behind bars. The last of three gang members charged in the death of a Hudson Valley teen has been sentenced to prison. Dutchess County resident Dimetri Moseley, age 28, of Poughkeepsie, a member of the "Uptown" gang, was sentenced on Wednesday, Dec. 14, said Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. An MS-13 gang member accused of taking part in the brutal killing of a 20-year-old man on Long Island has been extradited to the United States. Jose Jonathan Guevara-Castro was extradited from El Salvador on Tuesday, Aug. 9, nearly a month after the country’s top court gave the green light, the US Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District announced. Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a teen boy from the Capital District.
