The Rensselaer County incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18 in Troy’s Lansingburgh neighborhood, near 7th Avenue and 124th Street. According to city officials, a 30-inch cast iron water main running along 124th Street broke somewhere between 6th and 7th avenues. Elevated Lead Levels Found In Drinking Water In Capital Region Officials are warning of elevated levels of lead that were found in drinking water in the region.
