9 Students, 1 Adult Injured During School Bus Crash In Region Nine students and an adult were injured during a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in the region. The crash occurred in Orange County around 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, at the intersection of Route 52 and Route 17 in the town of Crawford. According to Crawford Police Chief Dominick Blasko, a 2021 Dodge truck was traveling eastbound in the eastbound lane of Route 52 when it collided with a 2024 First Student school bus.   The First Student Bus was transporting 43 Pine Bush students to Edward J Russell Elementary School when the collision took place, Blasko said. Orange County resident Jesse Boniface, age 52, of Middletown, was convicted on Tuesday, Oct. 1, of the rape which occurred in the town of Crawford, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Gas Station Attendant Robbed At Gunpoint In Hudson Valley Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint. The incident took place in Orange County 11 p.m., Monday, June 27 at the Citgo gas station in the town of Crawford around on Route 52. The man, who wore a mask during the robbery, held up the employee at gunpoint before fleeing, said the Crawford Police. The investigation is ongoing.
