Kevin Colwell, founder and CEO of the Albany-based Colwell Law Group, died at the Gore Mountain ski resort on Saturday, Feb. 8, the firm said in a statement. Long Island resident Brenda Guadalupe Alfaro-Alcantara, age 29, was found with multiple stab wounds in the basement of her Hempstead home on Botsford Street at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. The children, 10-year-old Hope G. Cobb and her 11-year-old brother, Samuel D. Cobb of Fulton, located about 30 miles north of Syracuse in Oswego County, went missing on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022.
