Hudson Valley Man Charged With Attempted Rape Of Child Under 13-Years-Old A Hudson Valley man has been charged with the attempted rape of a 13-year-old child. Dutchess County resident Michael S. Fowler, age 37, of Wappingers Falls, was charged on Thursday, July 20 for attempted rape in the first degree. Following an investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, it was determined Fowler attempted to have sexual intercourse with a victim under the age of 13, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Fowler was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $15,000 bond, or $100,000 partially secure bond.

Dutchess County resident Robert R. Dichiara, age 65, of LaGrange, was arrested on Monday, June 26 by New York State Police. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, an investigation into the missing funds was initiated after the department received a complaint of missing monies from the Arlington Lacrosse Developmental Club. Woman Killed After Being Ejected In 2-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash A woman was killed after being ejected from a car during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Orange County around 2;10 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 on I-84 in Wallkill. When New York State troopers arrived on the scene they found a 2020 Acura RDX and a 2019 Dodge down an embankment off the north shoulder, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
