The collision occurred in Orange County around 9:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at East Main Street and Orange Street in Port Jervis. Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden stated that a Deerpark Police officer tried to stop a motorcycle traveling southbound on Route 209 near the Port Jervis City line. State Police Make Determination In Death Of Hudson Valley 2-Month-Old More than a month after finding a 2-month-old unresponsive, New York State Police have released its determination in the case. The child was found in Orange County around 4:45 a.m., Friday, Jan. 19 at a home on Fawn Hill in Sparrow Bush, a hamlet of Deer Park. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, the baby was transported to Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis where it was pronounced dead. Nevel said an investigation by the state police determined that no criminality was involved in the death of the child.

It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 in Orange County on Park Avenue in the city of Port Jervis. In Orange County, state police were called at around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, with reports of a possible drowning on the Delaware River in Deerpark, near Hook Road Beach. Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Town of Deerpark Police and Sparrowbush Fire Department.
