Man Accused Of Selling Drugs, Fleeing Police Nabbed On Outstanding Warrants In Region A 33-year-old Connecticut man accused of selling controlled substances and fleeing from officers was jailed in the Hudson Valley after being apprehended on multiple outstanding warrants, police said. Not So Fast: Wanted Fisherman Tries Fleeing From Capital Region Cops In Rideshare, Police Say In hindsight, it probably wasn’t the most efficient means of escape. A Greene County fisherman found himself in handcuffs after he allegedly attempted to flee from police in a rideshare vehicle. The incident happened Tuesday, July 2, along Catskill Creek in the town of Durham.  Officers with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) spotted a man and woman fishing and asked for their fishing licenses. According to the agency, the man did not have an ID and gave them the name and birthdate of someone else with an active fishing license.  A check of his motorcycle’s …

Suspect Caught After Assaulting Hudson Valley Woman Pumping Gas, Crashing Her Vehicle: Police A Hudson Valley man has been charged with a hate crime after allegedly robbing and stealing a woman's car at a gas station. The incident took place in Ulster County around 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Mobil Station on Route 209 in the town of Wawarsing. Albany County resident Phillip Harris, age 46, was arrested near his Cohoes home on Wednesday, June 28, during a multi-agency investigation into his alleged drug activity. Officers were gearing up to execute a search warrant at Harris’ Remsen Street apartment when they spotted him inside a vehicle two blocks away, according to Cohoes Police.
