Blaze Consumes Home In Stony Point, Prompts Investigation Firefighters from multiple departments battled a house fire in Rockland County on Sunday evening, Feb. 16, that prompted an investigation into the cause of the blaze. The blaze began at around 7 p.m. at a residence on Stella Court in Stony Point, where arriving police officers found heavy smoke pouring from the residence, the Stony Point Police Department said. 13-Year-Old Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Residential Roadway In Hudson Valley Police are investigating a crash in which a boy was killed on a residential roadway in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in Rockland County. That's when the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the village of Pomona at the intersection of High Mountain Road and Overlook Road. Hudson Valley Man Charged After Firing Shotgun At Car Following Dispute A Hudson Valley man was charged with menacing after allegedly firing a shotgun at a car following a dispute. The incident occurred in Rockland County in Tomkins Cove on Thursday, Feb. 15, on West Shore Drive. According to Lt.
