A Long Island man is facing decades in prison after admitting to fatally shooting two people inside a home. Brian Cordovano, age 50, of Ronkonkoma and formerly of Bay Shore, was arrested following a traffic stop in Smithtown, on Columbus Avenue, just before noontime on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023. A New York man accused of murdering the mother of his child should’ve been locked up years ago, his own relatives insist. Long Island resident Brenda Guadalupe Alfaro-Alcantara, age 29, was found with multiple stab wounds in the basement of her Hempstead home on Botsford Street at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. 25-Year-Old Nabbed In Stabbing Of Man On Long Island
A suspect is behind bars following a stabbing attack on Long Island that sent a man to the hospital. The incident happened in Massapequa, near the intersection of Polo and Oxford roads, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. Nassau County Police said a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man got into an argument before the older man stabbed the victim in his torso and arm. He then fled the scene in an SUV. An initial investigation has determined the cause of a crash that claimed the life of a well-known pilot at an air show in New York.
