44-Year-Old Killed After Being Struck By Car While Working On Pickup Truck On Long Island Road
A man who was working on a pickup truck on a Long Island roadway was killed after being struck by a car. It happened around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Blue Point. A 54-year-old East Patchogue woman was driving a 2009 Hyundai Elantra southbound on Kennedy Avenue near Pine Street when the vehicle struck a man working on a 2006 Dodge Ram parked on the northbound side of the road. ID Released For Woman Struck, Killed By Pickup Truck In Great Neck PlazaIntersection
The identity has been released of a woman killed in a crash at an intersection in a residential Long Island neighborhood. It happened around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Great Neck Plaza. A woman was struck by a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling westbound on Grace Avenue at the intersection of Park Place, according to Nassau County Police. The 37-year-old man operator of the vehicle remained at the scene. The woman suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local area hospital, where a hospital physician pronounced her dead. Man Enters Occupied Babylon Home, Steals Keys, Then Dodge Ram In Driveway: Police
A local man has been apprehended after police say he burglarized a Long Island home and stole a truck. Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting an unknown person had stolen a vehicle from the driveway of the Babylon residence on Araca Road just after 7 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. Officers found the homeowner had followed the man in the stolen 2020 Dodge Ram and was able to stop him in front of another home a short distance away on The Crescent, according to Suffolk County Police.
