Suspects Enter Occupied Long Island Home, Steal Keys, Then Cars In Driveway: Police Police are searching for a group of suspects who stole two cars from the driveway of a Long Island home after burglarizing the occupied residence. Three of the suspects entered the North Woodmere residence located on Jay Court through a rear door. just before 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, according to Nassau County Police. They then removed two sets of car keys from inside the home before entering two of the victim’s vehicles that were parked in the driveway.  There was an additional suspect inside of a dark colored SUV parked outside of the residence, police said.  The two stole…

21-Year-Old Nabbed After Breaking Into Long Island Home, Police Say A 21-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a Long Island home. Nassau County Police were called about a break-in at an Inwood residence on Wahl Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. When officers arrived, they found Wilber Sigaran fleeing the scene, police said. An officer caught up to Sigaran and deployed a TASER device in order to place him under arrest. Sigaran, of Inwood, is charged with assault and burglary. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday, Oct. 3.
