Wading River Man ID'd As Victim In Double-Fatal Wrong-Way Driver Crash In Two men were killed during a wrong-way driver crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, in LaGrange. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an initial investigation determined Joseph W. LaFave, age 35, of LaGrange, driving a 2017 BMW X1, traveled north in the southbound lane on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Todd Hill Road.  Hicks said LaFave struck a 2017 Lincoln Navigator head-on in the left southbound lane. Fatal House Fire: 62-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Nesconset A Long Island resident was killed in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in Nesconset. First responders rushed to the scene at Highland Place after a 911 call. Thomas Walz, age 62, a resident of the home, was taken out of the house by responders.  Walz was transported via ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  There were no other people in the house at the time of the fire, and no other injuries were reported. Seen Her? 17-Year-Old Girl From Bay Shore Missing Nearly Month Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing teenager from Long Island. Kayla Worilds, age 17, of Bay Shore, was last seen on Sept. 18, according to Suffolk County Police. She was previously reported missing in January. Worilds is 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said she may be in Brooklyn or Queens.
