Home Health Aide Steals Thousands Of Dollars From Babylon Patient, Police Say A Long Island caregiver is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her elderly patient. Relatives of a 90-year-old Babylon woman contacted New York State Police on Thursday, Oct. 24, after noticing several suspicious transactions on her bank statement. An investigation revealed that the woman’s home health aide, 39-year-old Jeneva Polwah, of Levittown, had used her debit card to make several Amazon purchases, police said.
