6 Cows On Run After Tractor-Trailer Hauling Cattle Crashes In Region
Six cows are on the loose tafter a trailer hauling cattle crashed, dumping 15 cows onto a busy highway. The incident occurred in Orange County at 6:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at the intersection of I-84 and Route 6 in Deerpark. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Kenworth carrying cows of various breeds was traveling west when the driver stated that his brakes failed. 'Total Shock': 34-Year-Old Air Force Veteran Killed In Capital Region Crash Had 'Heart Of Gold'
Tributes are pouring in for a beloved Air Force veteran following his untimely death in the region. Albany County resident Michael Furch, age 34, of Guilderland, died following a single-vehicle crash on I-787 in Albany on Thursday, June 20. New York State Police said Furch was operating a motorcycle when he lost control and struck a concrete barrier while exiting I-787 on the flyover ramp to I-90.
