$26.3 Million Road Project Begins In Region Work has started on a section of Hudson Valley roadway to upgrade drainage systems, fortify stone, resurface the road, and more. According to New York Gov. Car Rolls Over On Road In Region, Causes Temporary Closure One lane of a Hudson Valley road was temporarily closed after a car flipped, firefighters said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Oct. 18 just before 8 a.m., when a vehicle flipped at the intersection of Hill Street and Lakeside Road in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders evaluated the driver. However, they declined any medical attention.  One lane of traffic was closed for a short time while crews operated at the crash scene.  The cause of the crash was not released.

Crash Slows Traffic On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway A collision involving a truck impacted traffic on a busy route in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, July 17, when vehicles collided on Route 9 near the entrance of The Bird & Bottle Inn, according to the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company. Arriving first responders found the drivers out of their vehicles and stayed at the scene to control traffic and clean debris. The vehicles involved in the crash, including a truck, were later towed away.
