21-Year-Old Accused Of Violating Protection Orders While In Custody In Region A man is facing charges after allegedly violating an order of protection while incarcerated for the second time in the span of a month, authorities said. The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reported that Brandon Mima, age 21, of Beacon, currently held at the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center, is accused of contacting two individuals protected by the order via telephone. Man From Region Nabbed For Assault, Knocking Victim's Teeth Out, Police Say A man from the region was charged with assault after he allegedly broke into a home and knocked a victim's teeth out.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Town of Thompson. According to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies encountered Xavier Vega, age 30, of Monticello. Prisoner Charged With Violating Protective Order While Behind Bars In Region A man behind bars in the region has been charged again for allegedly violating a protective order. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Friday, Oct. 19, at the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center in Poughkeepsie. According to Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt. 39-Year-Old Accused Of Forcing His Way Into Home In Capital Region A Capitol Region man is behind bars after allegedly forcing his way into the home of a person he had a prior relationship with. Columbia County resident David A. Grant Jr., age 39, of Craryville, was charged on Sunday, Oct. 13. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an investigation determined Grant forced entry into the residence of the victim through a bathroom window and struck the victim.
