Capital Region Police Seize Cocaine, Heroin, And Hallucinogens In Madison Avenue Drug Bust Three Albany residents are facing felony charges after detectives recovered cocaine, heroin, and hallucinogens during a search warrant execution on Madison Avenue, police report. Detectives from the Albany Police Department’s Community Response Unit executed a search warrant on Thursday, Dec. 19, around 2 p.m., at a residence on the 800 block of Madison Avenue near Quail Street.  The operation, part of an ongoing investigation, led to the recovery of powdered cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens, and drug paraphernalia, said Albany Police Public Information Officer Megan Craft. Woman Accused Of Stealing Dog In Region A 46-year-old woman from the region was arrested this week after police said she and another woman stole two dogs from a home earlier this month.  Shalon Jones, of Albany, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property and hindering prosecution, Albany police said. 21-Year-Old Parolee Nabbed In Capital Region Shooting That Killed Man, Injured 2 Others: Cops Police have arrested a suspect in an overnight shooting in the region that killed a man and injured two others, including a 13-year-old boy. The Albany incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the city’s West Hill neighborhood, near Second and Quail streets.
