A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Long Island convenience store, New York Lottery announced. The third prize-winning ticket was purchased in Oceanside, at the Mahant station at 292 Long Beach Road, for the drawing held Wednesday, Dec. 25. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 15-26-27-30-35 and the Powerball was 3. Players can check their ticket status on the New York Lottery website.

The incident occurred Saturday, Nov. 9, around 1 p.m. in Oceanside, at 3458 Long Beach Road. The 28-year-old woman was attempting to back her 2011 Jeep out of a parking space when the man driving a 2019 Nissan, identified as 41-year-old John Ardolino, of South Hempstead, began honking, then parked behind her, blocking her from leaving, Nassau County Police said. Suspect Nabbed After Robbing Long Island Speedway A suspect who said he was armed was apprehended shortly after allegedly fleeing the scene of a robbery at a Long Island business.
