Break-In At Nuclear Facility: Five Suspects Cut Through Fence, Suffolk County Police Say Five intruders cut through a fence and broke into the Shoreham Nuclear Power Facility, sparking a police investigation and a public call for tips, Suffolk County police announced on Wednesday, March 5. Armed with bolt cutters, the group sliced through the security fence at 2 Lilco Road on Thursday, Feb. 8, police said. The breach caused $2,800 in damage before the suspects vanished.
