Nypd Detective Admits To Drunken Crash On Long Island Highway That Injured 2 An NYPD detective formally confessed to causing a drunken, fiery crash on a Long Island highway that injured two people. George Moore, age 40, of Freeport, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault and related charges in Nassau County Court on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in connection with a wreck on the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
