Suspect In Murder At Posh LI Resort Found Dead 200 Miles Away As Friends Mourn 'Gifted Artist' A Pennsylvania man suspected of murdering a woman at a high-end resort in the Hamptons was found dead hundreds of miles from the crime scene in New York. Thomas Gannon, age 56, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, according to Suffolk County Police. 23-Year-Old Found Shot In Broad Daylight In Region A man was found shot on a city street during an incident between several people in the region. The fight occurred in Dutchess County at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 24, on Mill Street in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, officers found the injured 23-year-old Beacon resident on the street; all parties were still on the scene. Figlia said the unidentified victim was transported to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. 25-Year-Old Found Shot On Roadway In Region A 25-year-old man was found shot on a roadway in the region after police responded to multiple 911 calls. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in the area of Oakley Street and N. Clinton Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the arm.  Officers immediately applied a tourniquet, and the man was transported via EMS to an area hospital for treatment.
