2 Women Hospitalized After Crash Near Shopping Center In Hudson Valley Two people were injured in a two-car crash in the region. The collision occurred in Dutchess County around 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, on Route 9 at the intersection of Galleria Drive near the AT&T store and Vitamin Shoppe in the Town of Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, a 2016 Honda sedan, driven by a Poughkeepsie woman, was heading northbound on Route 9 when it collided with a 2013 Audi sedan. Rash Of Car Break-Ins Under Investigation In Hudson Valley Police are investigating following a rash of car break-ins and attempted break-ins in the region. The break-ins occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 25, on the following Poughkeepsie roadways: Main Street S. Hamilton Street Parker Avenue Catharine Street Franklin Street Civic Center Plaza.  These incidents are currently under investigation. Poughkeepsie Police remind owners that vehicles should always be locked and secured. When not in use, all valuables should be removed from the vehicle, and no items of value (including loose change) should be visible.…

Road Rage: Shots-Fired Incident Under Investigation In Hudson Valley A road-rage confrontation on a busy highway led to the arrest of one man who allegedly fired shots at another car in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, on the Dutchess Turnpike near Degarmo Road in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to Capt. Ralph Cropley of the Poughkeepsie Police, an investigation found that a Dodge Ram and a Honda Accord were involved in the incident, and the driver of the Ram intentionally fired an illegally possessed handgun at the Accord, striking it and causing damage. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Attempted Murder In Stabbing Incident, Police Say A person residing in the region was nabbed for alleged attempted murder in a stabbing incident that seriously wounded another man. The attack occurred in Dutchess County at 1 a.m. Sunday, June 30, in the area of Smith and Mansion Streets in Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, on Thursday, Oct. 17, members of the Neighborhood Recovery Unit, Detective Bureau, and Patrol Division located and arrested Rushaan Francis, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, in connection with the June 30 stabbing.  Police said the 44-year-old victim was located suffering from multiple stab-slash wounds.&…
