Authorities have identified a teenager who was killed in a double fatal crash on the Southern State Parkway. The wreck happened in North Massapequa, in the eastbound lanes near exit 29, at around 8:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Two people were killed in a fiery, single-vehicle crash on the Southern State Parkway. The wreck happened in North Massapequa, in the eastbound lanes near exit 29, at around 8:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. 25-Year-Old Nabbed In Stabbing Of Man On Long Island
A suspect is behind bars following a stabbing attack on Long Island that sent a man to the hospital. The incident happened in Massapequa, near the intersection of Polo and Oxford roads, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. Nassau County Police said a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man got into an argument before the older man stabbed the victim in his torso and arm. He then fled the scene in an SUV. A suspect is on the loose after a fatal overnight hit-and-run Long Island crash. It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in North Massapequa. A 55-year-old man was crossing Hicksville Road in the vicinity of Boundary Avenue when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene in an unknown direction. A Long Island man could spend a decade behind bars for opening fire on his neighbors, nearly hitting a sleeping child. Steven Frigand, age 58, of North Massapequa, pleaded guilty to drug and weapon charges in Nassau County Court on Monday, July 29.
