Tributes are flooding in for a lifelong firefighter who was killed by a hit-and-driver on Long Island. Emergency crews in Hewlett were called about a fatal crash near Broadway and Everit Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18. Nassau County Police said 74-year-old Jeffrey Frank was crossing Broadway when he was struck by an SUV traveling northbound. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager from Long Island. Keyri Rodriguez, age 15, was last seen at Hempstead High School at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, according to Nassau County Police. Relatives reported her missing that evening.
