Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Girl From Lawrence
Police are investigating the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl on Long Island. Nathalie Sevilla was last seen leaving her North Lawrence residence at around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Relatives reported her missing the following day. Sevilla is 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black sweater. Man Killed After Being Struck By SUV Overnight On Long Island
A man was killed after being struck by an SUV on a Long Island roadway overnight. It happened around 9:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in Mastic. A 74-year-old Mastic woman was driving a 2019 Kia SUV southbound on Mastic Road, near Dover Avenue, when the vehicle struck the man riding a bicycle traveling southbound. A Long Island driving instructor has been accused of inappropriately touching one of his students. A man who impersonated a New York Department of Social Services employee has been accused of sexually abusing a resident at a shelter facility on Long Island. Deer Park resident Alfred Balcerak, age 65, pretended to be the DDS employee to gain entry into a shelter facility in East Farmingdale, on Sunday, Sept. 6, according to Suffolk County Police.
