The incident happened in Rocky Point, at a residence located on Quail Road, at around 1:25 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Suffolk County Police arrived to find Joseph Zoll, age 61, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point. Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed.
