Man Admits Stabbing Wife To Death As Couple's Son Desperately Tried Saving Her On Long Island A Long Island man formally confessed to stabbing his wife to death as their teenage son desperately tried to save her.  Ryszard Murawski, age 44, of Lindenhurst, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the death of Wioleta Murawski. Joshua Perez-Rodriguez, of Brentwood, died following a two-vehicle collision in Central Islip, at the intersection of East Suffolk Avenue and Carleton Avenue, on Friday night, July 5.
