Early-Morning Inferno Rips Through Nassau Home, Three People Displaced
A house fire ripped through a home on Long Island early Friday, April 10, leaving three people displaced, officials said.
The blaze erupted around 5:15 a.m. on Peconic Avenue in Seaford, Newsday reported. About 75 firefighters, led by the Wantagh Fire Department, responded to the incident and doused the flames within about two hours, authorities said.
No injuries were reported, and the displaced residents, who have not been publicly identified, were working with the Red Cross on temporary housing, according to News 12 Long Island.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
