Hempstead Man Convicted in Freeport Bar Shooting A Hempstead man has been convicted of attempted murder for a 2023 shooting at a Freeport bar that left a security guard paralyzed and another man seriously injured. A jury found Tiray Clemmons, 34, guilty on all counts Tuesday, Sept. 16, following a trial in Nassau County Court.
