Long Island Man Sentenced For Fatal Shooting Of Ex-Fiancée In New Hyde Park Parking Garage A man was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for murdering his ex-fiancée in an underground parking garage on Long Island. The shooting occurred on March 31, 2022, in the New Hyde Park garage of the medical facility where the victim worked.
