Driver Accused In String Of Antisemitic Threats Around Cedarhurst Injures Officer, Police Say A man is accused in a string of threats and antisemitic remarks targeting random people around Long Island. Nassau County Police said detectives were informed of two separate disturbances in Cedarhurst at around 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The first happened near Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue, and the second occurred near Barrett Road and Washington Avenue. Nassau County Police said the 31-year-old victim called what he thought was Five Towns Jewelry Buyers, located in Cedarhurst on Willow Avenue, at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11. He was told the business was undergoing renovations and that he should come to a house on Redwood Drive. The incident happened in Cedarhurst, at the Shulamith School for Girls on Cedarhurst Avenue, at around 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 Nassau County Police said two men illegally entered the school and rummaged through several offices. 'Irate' Passenger Exposes Himself To Girls, Man Aboard Nassau County Bus, Police Say A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly exposing himself to two minors on a Long Island bus. The incident happened in Cedarhurst, on an MTA bus that was traveling near Rockaway Turnpike and Rugby Road, at around 9:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19. Nassau County Police said a 30-year-old man and two girls, ages 17 and 7, were riding on the bus when another passenger “became irate,” pulled his pants down, and exposed himself to the victims.
