Anthony Santiesteban, of Centereach, was convicted of second-degree murder and related charges by a Suffolk County jury on Monday, June 24, in the death of 33-year-old Martina Thompson. Prosecutors said Santiesteban was captured on surveillance footage talking with Thompson in a Coram parking lot in the early hours of Oct. 29, 2022. Suffolk County Police said the break-ins occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, in Lindenhurst, at two businesses on Wellwood Avenue.
