2 Killed, 4 Severely Injured In Crash At Long Island Intersection Two people were killed and four others suffered serious injuries in a crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in West Babylon. A 2017 Kia sedan was traveling eastbound on Railroad Avenue and failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Great East Neck Road, Suffolk County Police said. The sedan then struck a 2025 Kia Seltos SUV traveling southbound on Great East Neck Road. Fatal Crash: 63-Year-Old From Farmingdale ID'd As Victim In West Babylon A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened around 12:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, in West Babylon, when the victim was driving a 2023 Hyundai Elantra northbound on Great East Neck Road at Railroad Avenue.  The car veered into the southbound lanes, crossed all lanes, and struck bushes and trees on the side of the roadway, according to Suffolk County Police.
