Update: Tropical Storm Helene Predicted To Be Strongest US Hurricane This Season
A newly named tropical storm moving toward the US coast is expected to become the strongest hurricane to strike the United States this season. According to the National Hurricane Center, iHelene is expected to be near hurricane strength when it reaches the far northwestern Caribbean Sea on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and then intensify to become a major hurricane on Thursday, Sept. 26.
