Drunk Driver Plows Through Salon In New Hyde Park, Police Say A Long Island business was heavily damaged by an alleged drunk driver. The incident happened in New Hyde Park, at the Touch of Class II salon on Jericho Turnpike, at around 1:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27. Nassau County Police said officers arrived to find an unoccupied Acura sedan just outside the building’s front exterior. The impact shattered two large windows and toppled part of a brick wall. Nobody was inside at the time and there were no reports of injuries. Officers located the driver, 28-year-old Antonio Fleming, of South Floral Park, walking away from the crash.
