Vehicle Goes Up In Flames On NYS Thruway In Hudson Valley A car fire on the New York State Thruway caused major traffic delays on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 3.  The fire broke out on the southbound side of the highway between Exits 15 and 14B in the Suffern area, prompting a large emergency response, The Monsey Scoop reported.  According to the outlet, crews from the Hillburn Fire Department, Tallman Fire Department, and the New York State Police arrived quickly and worked to bring the blaze under control. Several Hurt After Gas Station Fire Erupts Near Busy Intersection In Region A large fire at a Capital Region gas station sent multiple agencies rushing to the scene and shut down two major roadways. Emergency crews in Saratoga County responded to the USA Gas, located at the intersection of state routes 50 and 67 in Ballston Spa, for a fire Friday morning, June 6. The area is commonly referred to as “V-Corners.” Flames tore through the gas pump area, charring several vehicles and destroying the station’s canopy.
