A robbery in Westchester led to a multi-agency pursuit and arrests after the suspects crashed on Interstate 95, police said. The incident began on Friday afternoon, Oct. 10, when officers responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery on Parkway Drive in Port Chester, the village's police department said on Saturday, Oct. 11. Trooper Injured After Vehicle Strikes Patrol Car On Thruway
A New York State Trooper was hospitalized after her patrol vehicle was struck during a traffic stop on I-87 in Albany County. Trooper Kristen Sullivan was conducting a northbound traffic stop around 8:44 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, when a 2017 Subaru Forester hit the driver’s side of her vehicle, New York State Police said. Sullivan suffered minor back and neck injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center, where she was expected to be released later the same day. Crash Causes Hours-Long Road Closure In Hudson Valley
A serious traffic crash in the Hudson Valley is causing an hours-long road closure. The crash occurred in Rockland County early on Friday, Sept. 13, on Route 45 in Ramapo. According to the Ramapo Police, Orange & Rockland Utilities will close Route 45 at Rensselaer and New Hempstead for the next 8 to 12 hours while working on repairs. Man Accused Of Biting, Assaulting Deputy After Crash In Hudson Valley
A man has been charged with allegedly biting and assaulting a deputy attempting to arrest him following a crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of LaGrange, at around 12 a.m. on Monday, July 29. According to Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Jordon A. Robin, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, was charged in connection with an auto accident investigation and subsequent assault.
