International Theft Groups Targeting Hudson Valley Homes: Police New Windsor Police are warning residents about a series of residential burglaries they believe are linked to international organized theft groups.  These groups, often composed of individuals from South America, have been targeting homes in residential neighborhoods across the region and state, said New Windsor Police Chief Daniel Valeri.  According to Valeri, after investigating several burglaries in New Windsor, they found the organized theft rings focused on stealing high-end jewelry, watches, designer items, and cash.  He added that their typical method involves forcing …

Police Asking Residents To Be 'Vigilant' After 3 Hudson Valley Home Burglaries Police in the Hudson Valley are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity after three residential burglaries. The incidents occurred in Rockland County in the village of Montebello. The Ramapo Police Department reports it is investigating three recent residential burglaries in the Village of Montebello.  The department is asking for the public's assistance.
