16-Year-Old Girl Presumed Dead In Dutchess County: 'Beautiful Soul' A Dutchess County school community is mourning the loss of 16-year-old Arlington High School student Maya Ferrell, who is now presumed deceased, according to a letter sent to families by district officials.  In a message to the Arlington Central School District on Monday, March 24, Superintendent Dr. Phil Benante said that while Maya’s location remains unknown, she is presumed to have died.
