Francisco Hernandez, 53, was convicted of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a violent felony, following a jury trial presided over by County Court Judge Maurice Williams, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office said on Friday, Sept. 26.

A former martial arts instructor who admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing minors in Dutchess County has been sentenced to prison, prosecutors announced.
Tyler LeClerc, age 27, of Hyde Park, was sentenced on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty in June to multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, according to Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.

A Hudson Valley man is headed to prison for sexually abusing a child for years, beginning at the age of nine.
Rockland County resident Elmer Oviedo Sandoval, 47, of Haverstraw, was sentenced to six years in state prison on Tuesday, Oct. 29, for the course of sexual conduct against a child, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.
From 2016 to 2019, beginning when the victim was nine years old, Sandoval subjected her to sexual contact on multiple occasions while she resided in two separate residences in Ramapo, Walsh said.
