Violent Parolee Stabbed Man Outside Bar In Region, Police Say
A violent ex-con out on parole is accused of stabbing a man outside a Capital Region bar.
Jason Melendez, 40, of Schenectady, was arrested Wednesday, April 16, in connection with a stabbing attack that left a man hospitalized outside Rotterdam’s Sliderz Bar & Grill.
The incident happened early Saturday morning, April 12, outside the Guilderland Avenue watering hole, according to Rotterdam Police.
A man walked into the emergency room at Ellis Hospital suffering from a stab wound at around 4 a.m., as Daily Voice reported. Hospital staff then contacted Schenectady County law enforcement.…
