An off-duty NYPD detective from Putnam County was arrested after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at three teenagers during a road rage incident, prosecutors said.
John O’Connell, age 36, of Patterson in Putnam County, was charged with menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the incident, Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Dutchess Man Caught Drunk Driving Over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend: Sheriff
Deputies arrested three drivers for DWI in Putnam County over the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend, authorities said.
The arrests took place in Southeast between Sunday, March 16, and Monday, March 17, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, March 19.

Rowseelee, a boba tea shop, celebrated the grand opening of its second location in Putnam County at 81 Main St. in Cold Spring on Friday, Aug. 9.
