Two workers were rushed to a trauma center after suffering serious injuries in an ATV crash at a water supply facility in Putnam County. The crash happened around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, on Belden Road near the New York City Watershed property in Carmel, the Carmel Fire Department said on Sunday, Aug. 24. Woman With Dementia Saved From Roof In Dutchess County
Firefighters raced to a building in Dutchess County to come to the aid of a woman with dementia who was found on its roof. The incident happened on Wednesday evening, July 23, at a building on Union Avenue in Poughkeepsie, according to the city's fire department. The department's G3 Truck 3 arrived at the scene and firefighters used the bucket to bring the elderly woman down to the street to be taken to a nearby emergency room.
