A Hudson Valley man is accused of abandoning a dog that later starved and froze to death. Ronnie Morris, 38, of Monticello, was indicted for aggravated cruelty to animals by a Sullivan County grand jury on Friday, March 7. An investigation found that Morris abandoned his 2-year-old pit bull, Nala, in a vacant house without electricity while locked in a crate, according to the Sullivan County DA’s office.
