Omar Alaidrus, 24, was sentenced to 12 months in prison on Wednesday, Feb. 12, after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl and committing food stamp fraud totaling $316,975, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. Dutchess County Man Busted By Drug Task Force Following Investigation An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer was nabbed following a three-month investigation into the sale of cocaine in the area. Dutchess County resident Shyquan J. Collins, age 32, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Oct. 31, by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force, Collins, was investigated for more than three months in the town and city of Poughkeepsie for the sale of cocaine.
