Nor'easter Leaves Hundreds In Dark, Trees, Branches Snapped In Hudson Valley A powerful nor’easter that swept through the Hudson Valley left hundreds without power and sent crews scrambling to clear downed trees and wires Monday morning, Oct. 13.  In Rockland County, about 209 Orange & Rockland Utilities customers were still without electricity as of 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, with full restoration expected by 11 p.m., according to O&R.
