Here’s How Many Drivers Were Arrested For DWI Over Super Bowl Weekend In Hudson Valley
A statewide Super Bowl weekend enforcement push led to thousands of traffic tickets and more than 170 DWI arrests as troopers flooded New York roads in an effort to curb impaired and dangerous driving.
From Friday, Feb. 6, through Sunday, Feb. 8, troopers issued 8,263 tickets, arrested 177 drivers for driving while intoxicated, and investigated 822 crashes, including one fatal crash, according to the New York State Police.
