NY State Police Sergeant Killed In Motorcycle Crash Crash A longtime New York State Police sergeant was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County, police said.  The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, near mile marker 36.1 southbound in East Fishkill, according to New York State Police. Investigators said a 2025 Ducati motorcycle was heading south when its rider lost control. The rider, identified as Sergeant Nigel K. Man, 39, Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Taconic Parkway In NY A 39-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash after losing control on the Taconic State Parkway in Westchester County, police said.  The crash happened around 9:16 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, near mile marker 5.0 northbound in the Town of Mount Pleasant, New York State Police said on Thursday, Aug. 28. State Police said Miguel Aguilar-Bruno, 39, of the Bronx, failed to navigate a curve in the roadway, lost control of his motorcycle, and struck a guardrail. 79-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Crash At Hudson Valley Intersection A 79-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in Orange County after being airlifted to a hospital.  The crash happened in Warwick around 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at the intersection of County Route 1 and Big Island Road, the Town of Warwick Police Department announced on Sunday, March 30.  Police and first responders from the Warwick Fire Department and Warwick EMS rushed to the scene, where they found the motorcycle operator with serious injuries.
