The crash occurred on Thursday, Jan. 23, just before 4 p.m., on State Route 9G in Red Hook, according to the Red Hook Police Department. Police said Dougher’s northbound Hyundai crossed into the southbound lane for unknown reasons, colliding head-on with a pickup truck. It happened in Dutchess County around 7:10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Pleasant Valley.  New York State Police said a 55-year-old Poughkeepsie man was driving a 2006 Honda sedan eastbound on Sherow Road when he failed to stop at the intersection with North Avenue.  The vehicle crossed both lanes of North Avenue, ultimately hitting a barrier on the east shoulder, said police. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, in LaGrange. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an initial investigation determined Joseph W. LaFave, age 35, of LaGrange, driving a 2017 BMW X1, traveled north in the southbound lane on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Todd Hill Road.  Hicks said LaFave struck a 2017 Lincoln Navigator head-on in the left southbound lane. Man, 55, Found Shot Dead In Hudson Valley Parking Lot Police are searching for a suspect after a 55-year-old man was found shot dead in a parking lot in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the City of Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers found the man at the top of the parking area.
