Over 100 Passengers Evacuate After Smoke Fills Metro-North Train Car On Harlem Line Over 100 passengers had to evacuate a train car after it filled with smoke at a Westchester County Metro-North station.  The incident happened on Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, at the Scarsdale Train Station, when Train 505 had a mechanical issue resulting in a "smoke condition," according to an MTA spokesperson. The 125 people on board all left the train as firefighters responded. No injuries were reported.  The incident is causing residual delays and cancellations on the Harlem Line.
